Bank statement to Excel
Every transaction in its own row with real dates and numbers, ready for filters and pivot tables.
Read more →Drop an MT940 or CAMT.053 file from your bank into the converter. See the transactions, convert them to Excel or CSV, or split a file that is too large by month or quarter.
A download of a year or more quickly holds thousands of transactions. Many accounting packages refuse such a file or stop halfway. Split it into smaller parts and import them in order.
Just want to read or edit the transactions? Choose Excel or CSV: date, value date, description, counterparty, IBAN and amount per transaction. MT940 to CAMT.053 works too, for software that only reads the newer standard.
Viewing and converting to Excel or CSV is free. Splitting and the MT940 and CAMT.053 formats are part of Business, which you can try free for 14 days.

How it works
Download the statement as PDF from your online banking and drop it on the page. Nothing is uploaded.
Every transaction appears in a table with date, description and amount. We check the opening and closing balance for you.
Choose Excel, CSV, MT940, CAMT.053 or OFX and import the file into your spreadsheet or accounting software.
Bank statements show your income, your spending and your account number. That is why BankToCSV reads them inside your browser. The PDF is not uploaded – not to us and not to anyone else. You can even disconnect from the internet after the page has loaded.
We do not use tracking cookies or analytics.

Files with several statements (one per day, as many banks deliver) are supported. Every statement is kept whole or cut with recalculated balances.
